My friends and I were on land again after the boat tour was over.
We were trying to make our way to our next destination,
but at the same time, it was a bit early but almost lunch time, so we were also looking for places to eat.
and that's how we ended up here.
Yes, it was Pougnier, where we bought some Swiss chocolate on the previous day.
As mentioned in the "Search for Swiss Chocolate" post, this place also serves food.
My friends and I had sandwiches as light lunch.
They were pretty nice. (
Anyway, we continued our journey to our next destination,
which was Parapark Geneve!
It was an escape room game cafe.
We had an opportunity to come here thanks to one friend's network.
These are the two folks who ran this place.
These were the flyers that I could not read, due to language barrier.
Before the start of the game, the folks explained to us what this sticker meant.
They told us that these stickers mean that "this object is for looks only and is not related to the game itself"
(
After all the lecture about safety, caution, and etc.
We were given a walkie-talkie, then were locked inside a room, and were given an hour to find the clues and escape it.
(No pictures of the room, because those will be spoilers.)
The room's theme was a mad scientist's lab, and it had weird creepy noise playing in the background (it sure freaked me out). However, we were all very actively searching for clues and actually managed to escape with 10 minutes remaining!
It was a lot of fun!
If we had anything we were confused about or were spending too much time on something unrelated or something we've gotten already, the owners gave us some extra hints or clarifications via the walkie-talkie.
Thus, my very first escape-room game was a huge success.
If I get another chance, I would love to try another escape-room game with friends.
