It was our last day in Geneva, Switzerland.
My friends and I were back at Lake Geneva after eating breakfast, and checking out of the hotel.
Since I was traveling with friends who love to buy gifts, it was pretty obvious that we'd visit a gift shop in Geneva.
I, on the other hand, am not a gift person, so I thought I might be having a boring time.
but heyyy!
CHOCOLATE!
(actually I didn't buy chocolate here)
and, since I didn't buy chocolate, I got bored quickly.
you know what that means.
Picture Time!!
Luckily, there was this small plaza full of amazing architecture right next to the gift shop.
and after shopping,
we came back out to the lake.
This time, we came to the lake in the morning, so the Jet d'Eau was shooting out water with all its might.
My friends and I were just about to take a boat tour.
We hurried to the ticket office and bought the tickets to board the boat.
and shortly, we were all aboard the boat
and the boat departed for the tour.
First stop was the Jet d'Eau
we were able to see the massive fountain from a closer distance!
Haha
Look at that powerful stream of water shooting up to the sky.
it appears that the small nozzle in the picture is pumping the water 50 meters up into the air.
after seeing the Jet d'Eau, the boat went elsewhere.
Obviously, we were able to get some nice views of Geneva.
and here's something a bit unexpected
There was a swimming area at the lake!
(This trip to Geneva sure showed me a lot of new aspects about lakes that I wasn't familiar with)
and we also were able to see the part of geneva that seemed to be more peaceful and quiet.
Must be where the rich people live?
Anyway, thanks to this boat tour, we were able to see aspects of Geneva that we weren't able to see on the previous day. This boat tour is recommended for people who want to see various landscape of Geneva in one tour.
After the boat tour, my friends and I looked for a place to have lunch
