Back on the street.
My friends and I were walking to our next destination.
We started to see more of the pure beauty that is the Lake Geneva
I just could not believe the scenery I was seeing.
The lake itself...
and even the grass and the artworks next to it.
They were all very pleasing to see.
Most of all, I just could not believe that this was lake water I was seeing.
Heck, I still can't believe it now.
All the lakes I've seen in my life were smaller and had very murky water (ex: Seokchon lake)
Behold!!
The landscape of Lake Geneva!!
and at the lake, I was able to see various critters.
Like ducks,
and swans!
Photogenic swan is photogenic.
After seeing the lake and Geneva from this side
my friends and I decided to go to the other side of Geneva via the water bus.
Being on a waterborne public transportation made me feel like I was in Venice.
I, of course, took some pictures while the boat was crossing the lake to the other side of Geneva.
The cloudy weather didn't do justice to the landscape, but it was still gorgeous.
I've also spotted some people enjoying water sports,
and some people who were fishing in the middle of the lake.
Moments later, the water bus dropped us off at the other side of Geneva
This side was also nice.
However, everything would have looked much better if there was better sunlight.
:(
The water bus that brought us here was ready to take its new passengers back to the other side of Geneva that we just came from.
Here's something that might help!
"Eau Potable" means drinking water. If you are thirsty and don't want to spend cash on purchasing a bottled water, this is what you need.
I can't believe I'm seeing this many docked boats at a lake.
I mean, this is something you see more commonly at port cities by the sea, right?
Anyway, we needed to make it to the center part of Geneva, where Rhone river meets Lake Geneva.
So we took this bus/tram hybrid
and made it to the area we wanted to go.
We weren't even back out near the lake yet, but we could already see some amazing looking architecture. Some of the buildings seemed like something you'd see from Harry Potter movies!
Anyway, back to the lake.
Finally! Some nice sun light!
The landscape photos of Geneva were coming back to life.
My friends were having some trouble looking for the Geneva water fountain (known as Jet d'Eau), because for some reason the fountain was not operating anymore.
and here's me, just taking pictures of the place nearby.
But still, my friends and I managed to locate where Jet d'Eau was located at.
and just as we feared, the fountain was already done spouting water for the day.
Oh well, maybe next time.
We just decided to go to our next destination.
The landscape of Lake Geneva was so peaceful and gorgeous.
I actually would love to live at a city like this.
