It was already time to check out of the beloved(?) Ryokan.
It's sad that I had to leave Okunoyu so soon.
Anyway, my family decided to look around Okunoyu and appreciate how it looks in daylight, since we arrived there really late the day before.
Starting off with the balcony of our room!
Looks quite different from how it looked last night, right?
Since it's bright out and all, I'll give you guys a tour around the balcony
This is the basket where you leave your clothes, before going into the mini hot-bath.
There also is a beach chair, and a small bush right next to it.
and this is probably the most important thing in the balcony, the mini open-air hot tub!
this is the view from the balcony.
you could actually see the stream during the day! (duh)
I really love this kind of scenery.
It's definitely a nice view to observe while drinking a cup of tea or coffee.
This is the newer building, where my family spent the night
and There's THIS!
The "Onsen Jigoku"
What are you?
It turns out that...
...this is where they keep the hard-boiled eggs.
with the nice, hot steam from the hot springs.
Maybe they even cook the eggs with the steam.
Mom and dad having their selfie time.
Do you know how nice it was to actually get to see the stream, which was only possible to be perceived through hearing during the night?
a familiar place from the night before.
Oh gosh,
please, stop posing in my pictures. (unless I want them)
Rest of the pictures were from the exact place I've been to the day before, but yet, they look very different due to the change of lighting.
After this walk around the place, my family checked out of the Ryokan.
However, we still left our luggage at the front desk, because there's still more in this town we haven't seen yet.
