A brief Rise Against introduction(?) video

This is a video clip that I made for a class project back when I was in 11th grade, and it is also the very first video clip I have ever made!
I had to make a short video clip about a topic of my choice, using a "Windows Moviemaker," so I made one about my favorite rock band, Rise Against.

All of the Korean subtitles are either translations of what Tim McIlrath says in the video, or very obvious facts/characteristics of Rise Against.

Through this assignment, I had learned to really enjoy editing videos, and that Windows Moviemaker is extremely limited in many of the functions.
I mean, seriously, would you believe that this was the best I could do?
Well, anyways, if I were to ever make or edit videos again, I would probably never go anywhere near a Windows Moviemaker.

The Tree With Rotting Roots

I think this was one of the first complete drawings I've ever made with my Wacom Bamboo tablet.

Although my drawing skills may not make it seem like one, I tried to draw a tree that looks very healthy on the outside, but is rotting at the roots.

Through this drawing, I tried to illustrate the Korean music industry:
The healthy-looking, upper portion of the tree represents the mainstream K-Pop, which is easily visible/accessible to the masses, and is currently prospering.
The rocks surrounding the roots represent the general public's and the major record companies' indifference towards indie-artists, and favoritism towards mainstream K-Pop.
With the rotting roots, I wanted to convey the message that the indie-artists are dying out as a consequence of indifference and favoritism.

Thus, all together, I was trying to say that indie-artists or artists pursuing genres other than K-Pop need to receive more attention and assistance, in order for the Korean music industry (or any other myopic music industry that are overly obsessed with money-making) to become more diverse, robust and internationally renown.

HTR Space

I have decided to merge HTR Productions and HTR Life and decided to post almost everything I would normally post in my Korean blog.

The type of things I would be posting here are mostly going to be:
-life episodes

and occasionally:
-artworks
-videos
-music
-practice (imitation) works
-other creations

I would like to warn those of you who will see this blog that these works of mine are going to be very mediocre and may not satisfy your standards.
